Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy is a plain-language draft covering how Garage Reset (“we,” “us”) handles information collected through garagereset.site. It is boilerplate written for a small local business and has not been reviewed by an attorney — please have one review it before relying on it for real customer data.
What we collect
- Contact information you give us to request a booking: name, email, phone number.
- The city, garage size, timeline, and any message you provide with a quote request.
- Photos of your garage that you choose to upload for a ballpark estimate.
How photos are used — AI analysis disclosure
When you upload photos to get a ballpark estimate, those photos are sent to Groq's API (running a Meta Llama vision model) for automated analysis of clutter density, in order to generate your price range. Photos are also stored so we can review them ourselves before and during your visit. We do not use your photos for any purpose other than generating your estimate and preparing for your job, and we do not sell or share your photos with third parties beyond the AI processor described here.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to generate your estimate, follow up about booking a visit, and deliver the service you requested. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We retain quote and booking records for as long as reasonably useful for running the business (e.g., following up on a lead, scheduling a job, or resolving a dispute), and delete or anonymize records on request.
Your choices
You can request a copy of the information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address on our Terms of Service page.
